I am a photo hobbyist - I love capturing 'the moment'. It's what I thrive for, the natural shots and the beautiful scenery.

Beginning with the Panasonic DMC FX12, I grew a love for trying to make the norm look special. When I had the chance to play with my friend's Sony SLT a33, I instantly fell in love and purchased the Sony SLT a55. I grew a love for macro photography, though I wasn't able to do much yet. Whilst serving as a missionary, I went for the compact cameras as they were easier to carry around. The Sony DSC WX50 introduced me to Sony's Exmor R technology, later upgrading to the Sony DSC WX300 and simply loved taking photos of everything. Portrait photography then became a bigger part of my joy in photo shooting.

I am to constantly looking for new ways to improve and expand my photography skills.

 

I personally try to avoid using Photoshop or any image processing tools as much possible; I only use it when I need to use it - such as for work; I want to get the right shot that moment, where it's just me, the camera, and the subject. This follows suit in my goal of improving my skills.

Of course, nobody is perfect, so I will dabble in the arts of Photoshop as necessary, and for fun - like my bio picture you see here - combining an image from Gran Turismo 5.

 

As a learning photographer, I'm happy to take on any jobs; portraits, parties, reunions, receptions, weddings, etc, for a good price.

I operate Monday to Saturday - I don't do Sundays for religious reasons.

 

This site is only temporary, simply to share what I've done thus far in my journey in photography. I hope to take this passion further, and soon move all this onto a full website, and a full career.
